From Soil Conservationist to Supervisory Soil Scientist and Cartographer, my career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture has been multifaceted. I've actively developed and delivered policy updates, training programs, presentations, and fact sheets, ensuring effective communication of USDA initiatives. I've also represented the agency at numerous public events, fostering community engagement. My commitment to internal communication is evident in my contributions to agency newsletters, and I've championed inclusivity as the Veterans and Disabilities Special Emphasis Program Manager for NRCS Virginia. Currently, I'm shaping the next generation of USDA professionals as an instructor for the NRCS Orientation for New Employees.

I also proudly served four years in the United States Navy as an Operations Specialist aboard the USS Gettysburg (CG-64). Discover more about my USDA experience and military service below.
